I have been writing my whole life. And here's a secret. I didn't learn how to write in school; my Dad taught me.
English wasn't even his first language (or his second), but the man could speak and write beautifully. From elementary school book reports through college research papers, Dad was my best editor. He pushed me to include all the necessary information and not more. He taught me to start in the middle, with what I knew and work my way backwards and forwards to complete the project. He insisted on meaningful word choice. And so much more. Later, I taught my husband and both of my children the same lessons. BLOG LINK TEST |
