Party Pleasing Baked Salami
M | GF This is always the first thing to go when it's on the buffet. It's great for football games. I like to use Hebrew National Salami, but any garlicky salami chub will work. Mix equal parts of good mustard and apricot preserves - about 1/4 C of each for a 1 LB salami. Then follow the preparation directions. Click here to download or print. |
Baked Salami - A crowd pleaser every time.
- Carefully cut a thin slice off the length of the salami to create a flat surface on the cutting board.
- Put a chop stick or wooden spoon next to the salami, to stop your knife from cutting all the way through.
- Slice the entire length of the salami, trying to make the cuts as evenly spaced as possible.
- In between each slice, spoon a mixture of half apricot preserves / half mustard.
- Bake at 400 degrees, for 20 - 30 minutes until brown and bubbly.
- Serve on a wooden cutting board with party rye.
